About the coach: Astha Agarwal

Astha_2024.jpg

I started the Homecoming Project as an appeal and an offering from my heart to express solidarity, offer support, and hold space for those of us brave enough to invite change within our families.

I am a self-leadership & dialogue coach and a mindfulness-based embodied listening facilitator with a decade of experience in the development sector and social work. I've worked with leading youth organizations like Pravah and Community - the Youth Collective, curating and leading interventions to develop youth leadership, facilitate mindset shifts, and foster dialogue for peace and harmony.

I specialize in creating safe and brave spaces for people to explore their potential, find purpose, and live in alignment with it and have mentored hundreds of young people for the same. I learn and practice Nonviolent communication (NVC), mindfulness and yoga to bring awareness to my heart and body. I am fluent in both English and Hindi.
